In 2025, Blake Leon founded BEL Animation with a single belief: emotion and truth should lead animation—always.
After starting BEL Productions in 2023, Blake began developing a slate of animation films creating original characters and stories that are visually bold, emotionally rich, and explore the power of imagination.
BEL Animation is currently in development on three feature films—CAMERA CREW, MONSTROCITY, and BUGGIN’ ME. While also in development on two short films, SHOWTIME and CAMERA CREW.
CAMERA CREW was originally developed as a short film but we fell in love with these characters and sent them on a greater adventure that needed a little more time.
The CAMERA CREW feature film is set to be released in the summer of 2026. Being the first released film for BEL Animation.
The summer of 2028 will see our first released feature films, bringing a whole new level of creativity and storytelling to the world of animation.
We‘re excited for our story to continue to grow and we can’t wait to share every step with you.
